POSITION: Printer (Full-Time Regular)

LOCATION: BHS Corporate – Gardena, CA

SHIFT: Monday – Friday @ 8am to 5pm

DUTIES: Position is in support of 375 person multi-site organization. This position supports printing requirements internal to Behavioral Health Service, Inc. (BHS). In addition, this position will support courier requirements between the various BHS sites (approximately 22 sites).

Processes high quality BHS printing orders in a timely manner. Maintains adequate supply of printing materials and places orders as needed. Ensures proper and economical use of equipment and supplies. Keeps records of pending and completed orders and purchases. Keeps print shop in a neat, clean, safe and well-organized manner. Performs routine and specially scheduled courier service as authorized, providing safe courier service and obeying al traffic laws. Maintains log of vehicle mileage, destinations and travel times. Responsible for routine vehicle inspections; requests maintenance as required. Works as a member of the team, including assisting in orientation of any newly assigned staff and intern/volunteers. Maintains familiarity with BHS policies and procedures and other applicable regulations. Attends meetings and participates in committees as assigned. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Following are the qualifications required to perform the essential functions of this position.  Qualifications may be subject to modification based on the Americans with Disabilities Act.

High School diploma or equivalent. One-year experience as a printer. Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Publisher. Competence in Adobe Suite. Strong record keeping and math skills. Ability to follow directions and able to proof read submitted documented orders. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must have valid California driver’s license and liability insurance when driving personal vehicle on BHS business. Able to stand, stoop, bend, squat and reach for purpose of performing job duties such as handling materials stocked on shelves, filing, lifting, and inspecting and servicing equipment. Routinely lift and move items weighing up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally up to seventy pounds; is expected to ask for assistance and use a dolly or cart for any heavy items. Vision, hearing, manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination must be adequate for performance of job duties. Duties may require occasional use of stool or small ladder.

Recovering individuals must have a minimum two years clean, sober and abstinent to be considered for employment.
