POSITION: Office Manager I (Full Time Regular)

LOCATION: Redgate Memorial Recovery Center - Long Beach, CA

DUTIES: The Office Manager oversees the functions of the general office procedures. Establishes and maintains filing systems for the office/facility. Manages time efficiently without supervision. Prepares written documents and oral presentations. Arranges and coordinates appointments, meetings, schedules, UA testing. Maintains relationships with external agencies and vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:  High school diploma plus four years increasingly responsible office experience, or Associates of Arts Degree plus two years experience.  Excellent writing and grammar skills.  Knowledge of office procedures.  Proficiency in word processing and data base software. Ability to follow directions and assume responsibility in assigned areas.

Able to stand, stoop, bend, squat, and reach for purpose of performing job duties such as handling materials stocked on shelves, filing, and handling and sorting mail.  Routinely lift and move items weighing up to ten pounds; is expected to ask for assistance and use dolly or cart for any heavy items.  Vision, hearing, manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination must be adequate to answer telephones, use keyboard, write messages.

Recovering individuals must have a minimum two years clean, sober and abstinent to be considered for employment.
